けなくてはならない。光度は本来、点光源に対して、あるいは光源を非常に遠方から測定し
た場合に定義される量であるから、面積と結びつく照度を、そこから導き出す場合には少し
工夫をする必要がある。光度の単位は光束/立体角なので、ここからはどのくらいの大きさ
の光源からどのくらいのエネルギーが出てくるかを知ることはできない。そこで、もし、被
照明面上の照度の比を考えるのであれば、画面上のごく微小な面積から射出する光の立体
角度毎の光束の分布は、光源を無限遠においた時の厳密な光度(放射強度)分布と同じプロ

3.汎用的な光源の設定方法
ここまでは、光源メーカ等の光度分布データをもとに照度分布評価を行うことを考てき
たが、照明計算プログラムで多く取り入れられている基本的な光源データ入力の方法につ
いて説明させていただく。
簡単に言えば、上記の光度と、光源単位面積当たりからどのくらいの光束(測光量ではル
ーメン)が放射しているかの二つの量が分かればよい。後者は光束発散度(測光量)、或い
は放射量では放射発散度と呼ばれる。光源の面積が分かっていて、その面内で発散度の偏り
が無ければ、光源面全体から放射する光束を入力すれば良いことになる(カタログ等に出て
いる総放射量である。)。光源面内で、放射角度の偏り、或いは場所による発散度の偏りが
あれば、図 5 にある様に、光源を幾つかのセクションに分けて、個別の光度と放射発散度を
入力する。図(a)(b)は分かりやすいように微小光源間に距離をとったかとっていない
かの違いしか無い。
